The Okta Identity Cloud

The Okta Identity Cloud is very easy to use, easy to navigate and its overall function really presents well. The Okta Identity Cloud minimizes our time pulling up other tools since it has already uploaded and organized inside it. A very good job for this type of tool which really helps us users to make our work easier.

This product has been in our enterprise for a while and new features are always welcome. Some other SIEM products in the market do offer additional features that Okta Identity Cloud can provide as well.

It is well suited to so many different types of organizations. Anyone that needs to expand their security presence needs to take a good look at Okta. Their Single Sign On and Two Factor Authentication offerings are some of the best in the market right now. The only time they might not be well suited is for smaller organizations.

Organisations requiring more custom rules for access, specifically non Microsoft organisations. Having said this it can integrate with Microsoft as well.

Okta Identity Cloud is ideal for any company with multiple users who are looking for an easy way to manage company apps and sign into them with ease. It's a great tool for any company, no matter the size. I used Okta before coming to my current company, and the previous company in mention was much smaller in scale.

The Okta Identity Cloud is in my opinion the premier tool for providing MFA to your workforce. Extremely easy to setup, standards based, stable, and a lot of user self setup/self help features. Makes managing user identify and disparate directories much more simple. Less appropriate for providing a true application portal experience for users as it's integrations in that area are mostly for cloud-based applications and not on-prem systems.

Appropriate to: integration in a heterogeneous environment, where threre's multiples system, OS' and roles that need to be setup. Okta works well with multiples OS and guarantee standarization of all these softwares in a unique and easy interface. Okta is also good for startups and medium size company, because besides being expensive you can balance this high cost with a basic IT team, due to the easyness of the software.

Not appropriate to: companies that relies strongly in solutions of a single supplier, like Microsoft or Google. In these scenarios, will be chepear and faster to the inherit SSO solution.

On my daily basis of using Okta, it never failed to amuse me in every work-related concerns. Using the updated tools I am using under Okta, I can confidently provide best and quality options to every customer and clients I deal with. It allows you to sign-in once at the beginning of your day and then automatically signs you in to other platforms that you access throughout the day. OKtA is best suited for Single sign on federated authentication. There are options Like Just in Time provision So as soon as user is there in Source you can provision it with no wait

I think this works well for dual login to any financial, proprietary, or CRM information that requires (or should require) an extra layer of security. We also use this to sign on to Microsoft 365 and other softwares jointly shared across our network. This program may not be appropriate for small businesses that does not require file sharing or logins to Cloud based systems.

Okta is best for a large organization using many different software applications on a regular basis, allowing employees to not have to sign into each one of them as they use them. For small organizations, it might be superfluous, but for large organizations, it saves time and allows employees to get a lot of management and bureaucratic tasks are done originating from one web page.

If you need SSO, this is the place to do it. Having a single login for users is something that is amazing for most people. Now they don't have to remember a variety of logins for various systems. Additionally, if that one login is revoked, it terminates access across multiple systems.

The Okta Identity Cloud is very helpful as it serves as a one-stop shop for all web applications we use for our company. With just a single sign-on it reduces the time we spent logging in to every application we need. The Okta Identity Cloud is very much effective in saving passwords.

It is well suited where user gets the access to change their own password and once changed, it will be changed throughout the company-wide applications under their Okta permissions and they don't have to call the service desk and wait for them to change it. It is very easy for adding various applications to add into the dashboard for users to access under one roof.

If looking to get internal users from AD pulled into the cloud for SSO between applications, this is a good fit. It could also pull in and maintain customers for external access to applications. Otherwise, it would be less appropriate.

Okta is suited when we want to restrict the users to use a few functionalities of the product. We can use it to authenticate and authorize the user. With one login, we can use all the other apps without individual login to each and every product. Okta's homepage can be improved.

Okta integration is really useful and helps to automate the systems and workflow, user-friendly, and easy to follow and implement in the daily work routine. Okta allows the efficient configuration of SAML 2.0 connects with vendor websites which is a core security feature. One issue with Okta login is the inability to put any modifier in the address bar to redirect users to Okta sign-in page.

I have not used or explored all of its usages yet but one thing I experienced is changing passwords with my tools. Before, we used to wait for a specific hour when we can call SD to change our password. It could reach a day or two days, especially during the weekend but now we can immediately change the password on our end without any help or support.

The Okta Identity Cloud is best for my online group booking. The Okta Identity Cloud makes my job easier where I can access different tools for my only booking for my clients and this provides security also to my tools. I could say that Okta Identity cloud can help you enhance your ability and help you learn or discover new things every day.
